West Indies name their T20 WC squad
West Indies have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I World Cup 2024, with Rovman Powell set to lead the side. Young sensation Shamar Joseph, who stunned Australia with his marvellous performace during West Indies' Test series against Australia earlier this year, has been named in the squad.
Veteran Jason Holder, Andre Russell and Gudakesh Motie have been included in the squad. Shimron Hetmyer has also made his comeback to West Indies. Most of the players in the squad are currently playing Indian Premier League in India. Pacer Alzarri Jospeh too makes the cut. Power hitters Nicholas Pooran and Johnson Charles are there too in the squad and will be one of the batting firepowers for West Indies.
