West Indies to host South Africa, England and Bangladesh
In an action-packed home itinerary, West Indies are scheduled to host South Africa, England and Bangladesh in 2024. West Indies will be kicking off their home schedule against South Africa, hosting them in a three-match T20I series beginning May 23. This series comes just ahead of the T20I World Cup as it will be a huge boost for them in their preparations.
South Africa, meanwhile, will again return to West Indies to play a two-match Test series in August followed by a three-match T20I series in Trinidad. Two Tests will be played in Trinidad and Guyana.
West Indies will host England for three ODIs and five T20Is, which will be played across Antigua, Barbados and St Lucia. West Indies’ assignment against England will be beginning from October 31.
In the last home assignment, Bangladesh will travel to West Indies for an all-format tour, involving two tests, three T20Is and three ODIs. Two test matches will be played in Antigua and Jamaica followed by ODIs in St Kitts and T20Is in St Vincent.
"We are delighted to announce our West Indies Men's Home Series for the remainder of the year that will welcome South Africa, England and Bangladesh to eight of our host countries in the West Indies, including Saint Vincent for the first time since 2012," said CWI Chief Executive, Johnny Grave.
"We urge fans to rally behind our Men in Maroon as we strive for a historic third T20 World Cup title and seek to secure all important points in the ICC World Test Championship."
