News

In a high-octane battle in 43rd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians are set to face each other on Saturday at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

In this highly competitive tournament each match becomes crucial for teams aiming to secure their spot in the playoffs. Heading into this match, however, the stakes are particularly high for Mumbai Indians, who currently find themselves placed second from bottom in the points table with only three wins to their name out of eight games.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have been enjoying a successful campaign so far, occupying a comfortable position in the standings with four wins from nine games. Rishabh Pant and Jake Fraser-McGurk have managed DC's batting nicely, along with Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs chipping in time and again with key innings.

Similary, their spin bowling has been kept tight by Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel. Still, their pace department continues to falter, coming up with lack of rhythm match after match. DC will continue to miss opener David Warner and pacer Ishant Sharma due to their respective injuries.

Mumbai Indians, with a formidable squad boasting of seasoned players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav, will be determined to turn their fortunes around and climb up the ladder.
