Injury will become the biggest hindrance for England pacer Josh Tongue as he will be missing the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand due to injury. Owing to injury, Josh Tongue was ruled out of the series with Chris Jordan replacing him. Tongue was looking forward to making his white-ball debut but sadly he will not be seen in action due to injury. Chris Jordan has been the leading wicket-taker for England in T20Is.

However, he was not the part of England’s T20I squad against New Zealand. This is a second injury blow to England after Josh Turner had earlier had been ruled of the series due to injury. The T20I series between England and New Zealand will get underway from 30th August.
