News

South African skipper Temba Bavuma has been ruled out of the fourth ODI against Australia scheduled to be played on Friday at Centurion. It has come as a big blow to South Africa with Bavuma being in the outstanding form in the previous three matches. Injury has played a key role in keeping Bavuma out of the fourth ODI. Apart from Bavuma, Anrich Nortje, who didn’t participate in the third ODI due to back injury has failed to recuperate on time and will be missing the remainder of the series. Keeping aside this series, ODI World Cup is nearing fast and South Africa’s injury concerns are getting frustrating for them. In the absence of Bavuma, Aiden Markram will be leading the side in the fourth ODI against Australia.
