Sia Cup 2023: Washington Sundar heads to Colombo to join team India

Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar has reportedly flown to Sri Lanka to join the Indian team for the Asia Cup final as the cover for the injured Axar Patel who suffered few injuries during India’s match against Bangladesh on Friday at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India on Friday suffered six-run defeat against Bangladesh. Sundar is joining team India as a back-up option for injured Patel. India will play Sri Lanka in the final of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 on Sunday at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Sundar is part of India’s Asian Games squad. Washington Sundar was last seen in action in an ODI at home in January.
