CPL 2023 qualifier 1: Guyana Amazon Warriors to face Trinbago Knight Riders

Guyana Amazon Warriors will be taking on Trinbago Knight Riders in the qualifier 1 of the ongoing Caribbean Premier League on Wednesday (Thursday 4:30 AM IST) at Providence Stadium, Guyana. Guyana Amazon Warriors had played their last match against Barbados Royals which was also the last match of the tournament in stage league. Guyana Amazon Warriors had registered an 88-run win in the match against Barbados. On the other hand, Trinbago Knight Riders had their last league stage match against Guyana Amazon Warriors where the latter had registered a 6-wicket win. 

Going into this match, Guyana Amazon Warriors are having the upper hand in the match, however, Trinbago Knight Riders would hope to give a befitting fight to make it to the qualifier 2. The wining team in this match will move to the qualifier 2 to face Jamaica Tallawahs. For Guyana Amazon Warriors, Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer, Imran Tahir and Dwaine Pretorious will be expected to play their crucial roles. While, Trinbago Knight Riders would rely on Martin Guptill, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell for their victory.
