CPL Final: Trinbago Knight Riders to clash with Guyana Amazon Warriors

Guyana Amazon Warriors stormed into the final of the Caribbean Premier League on Friday By beating Jamaica Tallawahs by (81) runs in the qualifier 2 at Providence Stadium, Guyana. Skipper Imran Tahir’s three wickets helped Amazon Warriors register a comprehensive victory. Put into bat, Amazon Warriors had set the total of (182) in (20) overs after losing six wickets. Azam Khan and Shai Hope had smashed (54) and (40) to take the team to a fighting total. Shimron Hetmyer too had contributed with his (31) runs. Chasing the target, Jamaica Tallawahs were bowled out for (101) in (15.2) overs. Imad Wasim was the top-scorer for Jamaica Tallawahs with his (43) runs unbeaten.
Trinbago Knight Riders, on the other hand, had moved to the final after beating Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Qualifier 1. Going into the final, Trinbago Knight Riders hold the upper hand with Their victory over Amazon Warriors in the qualifier 1. But, after seeing Amazon Warriors’ performance in the Qualifier 2, it seems that the final match is going to be incredibly competitive.
