Netherlands’ Ryan Klein ruled out against India, Noah Croes comes in as replacement

Ahead of their clash against India, Netherlands have made one change to their World Cup squad with Noah Croes coming in as replacement for Ryan Klein who was ruled out following the back injury. Netherlands are scheduled to face India on Sunday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Noah Croes has only played one match for Netherlands which was against Sri Lanka during World Cup qualifiers where he scored seven runs. Klein has only been in one match in the tournament as he played against New Zealand in Hyderabad where he returned with no wicket from his seven overs. The Tournament Event Technical Committee has also approved Noah Croes’ inclusion which would mean that he could play against India. Netherlands have already been eliminated from the tournament following their six defeats out of eight matches. But their win against India could put them into the race for Champions Trophy 2025. Their fight against South Africa was the tremendous win for them but they went on to lose their matches thereafter.
