IND vs AUS 4th T20I: India stare at comeback amid Australia’s surge

India will square off against Australia in the fourth T20I match of the ongoing five-match series on Friday at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. India are leading the series 2-1 with their victories in the first two matches before Australia made their comeback in the third match by thrashing India by five wickets. India are still standing tall to win the series despite suffering defeat in the last match. India would hope to win this match to lead the series-clinching victory because they are two matches ahead in the series in terms of victories. Australia, on the other hand, would look forward to levelling the series after keeping themselves alive in the series with their win in the last game. Glenn Maxwell had played a key role in Australia’s victory in the last match with his razing 104-run knock unbeaten. Indian bowlers had been unsuccessful in stopping Australia from chasing a huge total of 222.
Going forward, Australia would look to continue with the same rhythm to keep themselves further alive in the series as they would hope to take the series till decider. Indian bowlers, meanwhile, will have a huge burden of improving their bowling after they failed to defend 40 runs off last 2 overs. Pacer Prasidh Krishna registered the most expensive figures after leaking 68 runs off his 4 overs without having any wicket. Heading into the fourth match, India will have the services of experienced Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Chahar who both will join the team for the fourth match. Mukesh Kumar will also be back in the side after missing the third game. India will also take advantage amid the absence of Australian players Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith and Adam Zampa who have returned home following the hectic schedule after the World Cup.
India Probable XI: Ishan Kishan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Rinku Singh, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Deepak Chahar.
