IND-W vs AUS-W One-Off Test day 3 stumps: Australia fightback as India remain solid

Tahlia McGrath led Australia’s fightback with her 73-run score in Australia’s second innings of the ongoing One-Off Test match against India that got underway from Thursday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Ellyse Perry (45) and Tahlia McGrath (73) led Australia’s attack with the bat, however they fell before yanking the team out of distress. Their partnership had started to take shape but Harmanpreet Kaur got the best of Tahlia McGrath while Ellyse Perry was scalped by Sneh Rana. Australian openers Beth Mooney and Phoebe Litchfield didn’t start off well for the team as they lost their wickets for (33) and (18) respectively. Earlier, on day three, India had resumed with their overnight score of 376/7 as they added few more runs to finish on 406. 406 is India’s highest ever total against Australia in a Test match. India’s lower-order batter Deepti Sharma gave a massive impetus with her 78-run score. On day three at stumps, Australia were 233/5 with Annabel Sutherland and Ashleigh Gardner unbeaten on 12 and 7 respectively. Australia are leading by 46 runs as they will have a huge task on day four to add more runs to have a solid lead.
