NZ vs BAN 2nd T20I: New Zealand eye better times against assertive Bangladesh

Bangladesh and New Zealand will be squaring off against each other in the second T20I match of the three-match series on Friday at Bay Oval. Bangladesh had stunned New Zealand by winning the first T20I to take 1-0 lead in the series. Bangladesh, with their win against New Zealand in the first T20I, were able to create history as they had never registered their victory against Kiwis in New Zealand in T20Is before this win. In the first game, most of the job for Bangladesh was done by their bowlers after Shoriful Islam, Mahedi Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman claimed three, two and two wickets respectively.
Bowling first, Bangladesh had restricted New Zealand for a below par total of 134/9 (20). New Zealand’s top order had faltered completely to come down to a historic collapse. In their chase, Bangladesh had been helped by nervy Litton Das in their 5-wicket win. After kicking off the series on a bright note, Bangladesh would look forward to branching out their momentum to register their series-clinching win. New Zealand, on the other side, will have a major deal at hand to deal with as they would hope to come out of the heavy jolt that they were given in the first game. New Zealand’s top order batters would be expected to get into their elements to help the side level the series.
New Zealand Probable XI: Tim Seifert (wk), Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Mark Chapman, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner (c), Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Ben Sears
Bangladesh Probable XI: Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das (wk), Najmul Hossain Shanto (c), Rony Talukdar, Towhid Hridoy, Afif Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman
