Rohit Sharma adds another milestone to his glittering T20I career

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma recorded an immense milestone to his tremendously beautiful T20I cricketing career. Rohit Sharma became the first men’s player to make his appearance in the 150th T20Is. Rohit advanced to this impressive record during India’s second T20I match against Afghanistan on Sunday at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
India’s ongoing T20I series against Afghanistan also marked Rohit Sharma’s return to T20I action after keeping himself away from the format for more than a year. Rohit Sharma didn’t appear in T20Is after India’s defeat in the semi-final of the T20I World Cup 2022. Rohit's return hasn’t gone down well after recording ducks in both games. In the first game, he lost his wicket after being runout during the mix-up with Shubman Gill. In the second game, he again failed to open his account after being taken out by Fazalhaq Farooqi.
Rohit Sharma remains the most successful player in T20I, having made his debut in T20Is in 2007. Rohit Sharma has 3853 runs in T20Is, having 4 centuries and 29 half-centuries. He has most number of sixes in T20Is to his name with 182 sixes. Sharma is the second-highest run-getter in this format.
