BBL 2023-24 Challenger: Heat to challenge Strikers in a do or die

Brisbane Heat will be hosting Adelaide Strikers in the challenger of the ongoing Big Bash League on Monday at Carrara Oval, Queensland. Brisbane Heat have maintained an incredibly sublime record throughout the tournament with their seven victories and only one defeat from their 10 matches. Their two games have ended in no result.
They have topped the points table with the positive NRR of +0.972. Registering their seven victories in a row, Brisbane Heat suffered their first defeat of the tournament on Friday after being thrashed by Sydney Sixers in the Qualifier, Nonetheless, Brisbane Heat would hope to return strongly to continue their dominance.
Adelaide Strikers, on the other hand, beat Perth Scorchers in the knockout to advance to the Challenger of the Tournament. Adelaide Strikers remained on the fourth position in the points table with five wins and four losses, carrying 11 points along with the positive NRR of +0.331.
Notably, Strikers have been on the five-match winning streak heading into this game. Matt Short, D'Arcy Short and Jake Weatherald have been the top performers for Strikers. At one time, they languished at the bottom in the points table, but this has been an encouraging comeback for Strikers.
