BPL 2024: Sylhet Strikers to meet Fortune Barishal

In the 16th match of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, Sylhet Strikers will be clashing with Fortune Barshal on Tuesday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. Sylhet Strikers have lost four matches on the bounce that has kept them in a precarious situation. They are positioned at the bottom in the points table with no victory followed by no points and the negative NRR of -1.291. 

Sylhet Strikers had their last game against Chattogram Challengers that they lost by eight wickets. Deciding to bat, Sylhet Strikers scored a total of (137) in (20) overs after losing four wickets. Harry Tector was the top-scorer for the team with his 45-run knock. However, Chattogram Challengers achieved the target in (17.4) overs with Tanzid Hasan and Tom Bruce scoring their half-centuries. 

Fortune Barishal, on the other hand, have won only one game from their last four outings. They are sitting on the fifth position in the points table with two points and the negative NRR of -0.248. Going into this game, Fortune Barishal are coming off a defeat from their last outing against Chattogram Challengers. Both teams have a lot to play for as they meet each other in a crucial game.
