ILT20 imposes 12-month ban on Noor Ahmad

Afghanistan spinner Noor Ahmad has been banned by UAE's ILT20 for one year after he breached the contract with his franchise Sharjah Warriors. Noor has become the second player from Afghanistan after Naveen-ul-Haq who too was banned for the same reason.
Noor Ahmad, who was retained by Sharjah Warriors, refused to sign the retention notice, instead making himself available at the SA20 for Durban Super Giants. This act from Noor Ahmad forced Warriors to approach ILT20 to take cognizance of the matter.
The league’s disciplinary committee conducted the separate hearings before making their final decision. The committee finally handed down 12-month ban to Ahmad.
