PSL 2024: Islamabad United bring in Martin Guptill

Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Islamabad United have roped in New Zealand player Martin Guptill, boosting the team in the early stages of the tournament. Guptill has joined the team as a replacement for batter Mohammad Waseem.
Earlier, Islamabad United had signed Mohammad Waseem, but his national commitments forced Islamabad United to find the replacement. Guptill has played for Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings in the previous editions of the tournament.
In their ongoing campaign, Islamabad United have played two games, wherein they have registered victory in one and a defeat in another. Guptill holds a significant amount of experience in T20 cricket.
