PSL 2024: Unbeaten Quetta Gladiators meet Islamabad United

Quetta Gladiators will be facing Islamabad United in the eighth match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Thursday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Quetta Gladiators have been unbeaten so far in the tournament with two victories from their last two matches. 

Quetta Gladiators are on the second position in the points table with four points and the positive NRR of +0.635. Quetta Gladiators are coming off a victory from their last game after beating Lahore Qalandras. Khawaja Nafay, Saud Shakeel and Jason Roy have played key roles in Gladiators’ victories. 

Islamabad United, on the other hand, have one victory and one defeat from the past two outings. They are on the third spot in the points table with two points and the positive NRR of +0.438. Islamabad United played their last game against Multan Sultan that they lost by five wickets, but going into this game, they will look for victory to bring back the momentum. 

Islamabad United would expect their top order players Alex Hales and Colin Munro to step up after they both failed in the last game. Agha Salman and Jordan Cox have been positive in their batting attack, playing crucial knocks for the team.
