Babar Azam becomes the fastest batter to complete 10,000 runs in T20 cricket
Despite coming out with his valiant efforts to hammer a superb 72-run knock, Babar Azam failed to restrict Karachi kings from registering a 7-wicket win over his team Peshawar Zalmi in the sixth match of the ongoing Pakistan Tournament League (PSL) 2024. Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi, who have lost both of their games, are at the bottom position in the points table.
Babar Azam’s outstanding innings was a huge spectacle to behold after he battered seven fours and one six to complete his 51-ball 72. With the help of his resounding knock, Babar Azam recorded a tremendous milestone by becoming the fastest batter to reach 10,000 runs in T20 cricket.
To reach this landmark achievement, Babar Azam left behind West Indies legend Chris Gayle and Indian legend Virat Kohli respectively as he made it to the record while taking (271) innings against Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli having taken (285) and (299) innings respectively.
