Shakib makes comeback, to play 2nd Test against Sri Lanka

Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has been added to the team’s squad for the second Test match against Sri Lanka, beginning 30th March at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.
With his inclusion in the squad for second Test, Shakib will be marking his return to action for the first time since last playing at the ODI World Cup 2023 in India. Currently, Bangladesh are one down in the two-match series after suffering their huge 328-run defeat in the first Test.
Shakib’s availability will boost the side a lot as they are looking forward to drawing the series. Shakib is an incredibly experienced player, and his presence will further embolden the side.
