BAN-W vs AUS-W 3rd ODI: Australia complete 3-0 series whitewash, beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets
In response to an under par total of (89), Australia Women went over the line in (18.3) overs in the third and final ODI match against Bangladesh Women, securing an eight-wicket win, thus completing the 3-0 series whitewash on Wednesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Australian skipper Alyssa Healy scoring (33) helped the team get off to a solid start. Middle-order batters Ellyse Perry and Beth Mooney remained unbeaten on (27) and (21) respectively, leading the team to a comfortable win. Australia have been really dominant, putting Bangladesh on the ropes.
After putting into bat, Australia toppled Bangladesh with the help of committed efforts from Kim Garth and Ashleigh Gardner returning with three wickets each. Ellyse Perry and Sophie Molineux took two wickets each. Skipper Nigar Sultana top-scored for Bangladesh with (16).
