South Africa Women will be hosting Sri Lanka Women in the third and final ODI on Wednesday at Senwes Park. With South Africa currently leading the three-match series 1-0 following a resounding victory in the second game, they will be aiming to clinch the series.

The first showdown between both teams was unfortunately washed out due to an inclement weather. However, the second ODI witnessed South Africa's dominance as they delivered a commanding performance, winning the game by seven wickets

Skipper Laura Wolvvardt and Marizanne Kapp shone with the bat, blitzing (110) and (77) respectively, and leading the team to secure an early lead in the series. Their bowling attack too remained resolute after Ayabonga Khaka and Nadine de Klerk returned with three wickets each.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka Women find themselves in a challenging position as they aim to bounce back from their defeat in the second ODI. They would eye a win to level the series 1-1 and would hope for a collective performance from their players across all departments to make their dominance over South Africa. In the second game, they challenged South Africa but failed to carry on till the end.
