PAK-W vs WI-W 4th T20I: Nervy Pakistan down West Indies to secure their first win

In a nervy performance, Pakistan Women clinched a resounding victory against West Indies Women in the fourth T20I match, winning the game by eight wickets on Thursday at National Stadium Karachi. The victory served as a consolation win for Pakistan after facing defeats in the first three matches of the five-match series. This was also the first defeat for West Indies on their tour of Pakistan.

Pakistan’s all-round performance restricted West Indies for a meager total of 84/9, with Nida Dar and Sadia Iqbal chipping in with three wickets each. Pakistan bowlers displayed remarkable skill and consistency, making scoring difficult for West Indies. Shamaine Campbelle was the top-scorer for Windies with (26), giving the side something to defend. 

Chasing a modest target of (85) runs for victory, Pakistan Women were on the task from the very start, approaching the chase with utmost confidence. Opener Ayesha Zafar made (42), setting the side off a nice start. Meanwhile, Sidra Ameen and Muneeba Ali lost their wickets, scoring (15) and (8) respectively. Gull Feroza remained unbeaten on (21), alongside Ayesha Zafar, carrying the side to their first win.
