Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana added to India’s squad for first two T20Is vs Zimbabwe

There have been three major changes to India’s squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe after the trio of Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana were added to the squad to replace Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
The three players have been added to the squad for the first two matches. Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal were part of India’s World Cup winning squad that recently triumphed over South Africa in the T20I World Cup final.
The World Cup winning trio will first travel to India with the rest of the squad before departing for Harare. This is the maiden India call-up for Harshit Rana whose relentless contribution was consequential in Kolkata Knight Riders’ title victory at the IPL 2024. India will be led by Shubman Gill as this will be his first assignment as skipper. The five-match T20I series will begin from July 6.
