After having a disappointing start to their tour of India, South Africa Women fueled some life to their campaign by winning the first T20I match of the three-match series on Friday in Chennai. This victory marks their first triumph on their ongoing tour of India, offering a much-needed morale boost following a series of setbacks.

They faced a series defeat in the three-match ODI series, where the Indian team demonstrated formidable strength and dominance. Even, South Africa couldn't manage to clinch victory in the One-Off Test match, further adding to their difficulties.
