Shreyanka Patil ruled out of Asia Cup 2024

Indian spinner Shreyanka Patil has been ruled out of the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2024 with an injury to her left hand. The Asian Cricket Council noted in a release that “Shreyanka fractured the fourth finger of her left hand while fielding.”
Shreyanka made her appearance for India in their opening match of the tournament against Pakistan, picking up two wickets from her 3.2 overs. To replace Shreyanka Patil, Tanuja Kanwar, the uncapped player, who plays for Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League, has been called up by the management.
As for India, they made an excellent start to the tournament, thrashing Pakistan Women in their opening match of the tournament.
