England’s Josh Hull ruled out of Pakistan tour

England pacer Josh Hull has been ruled out of England’s upcoming tour of Pakistan due to a quad injury. Hull picked up a niggle injury during his debut Test match in England’s third and final Test match against Sri Lanka at The Oval. At that time, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had thought that he will recover in time and also pulled him out of the white-ball series against Australia. But, Hull has failed to recover due to which he has been ruled out.
Hull rose to prominence on the back of his impressive performance in the first-class cricket. Hull also stepped up in his debut Test match against Sri Lanka, taking three wickets. However, his masterclass bowling couldn’t save England from suffering a defeat.
Hull’s injury is a big blow to England’s bowling lineup as Mark Wood, Josh Tongue, and Dillon Pennington have already been ruled out of the tour. No replacement has been named for Josh Hull. The first Test match between England and Pakistan will begin on October 7 in Multan.
