Yastika Bhatia out of Australia ODIs due to wrist injury

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against Australia due to a wrist injury. Bhatia sustained the injury during the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League. Bhatia, a key player for India, will miss the series as she recovers from the injury.
In her absence, uncapped player Uma Chetry has been called up. Chetry has played four T20Is this year for India as she made her debut against South Africa in July. Bhatia, on the other hand, remained in superb form in the WBBL, racking up 154 runs in six matches. She was the second-highest run-getter for Melbourne Stars. The first ODI between India and Australia will be held on December 5.
