Brett Lee showers massive praise on Jasprit Bumrah

In the midst of the highly competitive Test series between Australia and India (Border-Gavaskar Trophy), former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has lavished huge praise on Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah for his remarkable performances with the ball. Bumrah has been one of the standout players for India in the ongoing series, and Brett Lee was quick to acknowledge his contribution to the team’s efforts.

India's batting attack has not been able to fire on all cylinders, but Bumrah has made a massive impact, rising to the occasion in high-pressure situations in the past three games. His partnership with fellow pacers Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep has been vital in putting pressure on Australia's strong batting lineup.

“He is world class, Jasprit Bumrah. Unfortunately, they had no Mohammed Shami, but I think the backing of Mohammed Siraj — there has been a bit of conjecture around him — but I think he has bowled really well," Brett Lee said on Fox Sports.

“In my opinion, they have an attack that has some good pace bowlers, but the reason why people say or think he is shouldering the whole load of the attack is that he is so good.

“He is miles ahead of any other bowler, and that is no disrespect to the other bowlers going around, but that is how good he is.”

Currently, the five-match series is tied 1-1 after third test match between both sides ended in a draw. The fourth Test will begin on Boxing Day (December 26) in Melbourne.
