Shami makes comeback as India reveal squad for England T20Is

India have announced their squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against England, set to take place in the coming weeks. One of the most significant inclusions in the squad is veteran pacer Mohammed Shami, who makes his return to the Indian team after a lengthy absence. Shami, who was last seen representing India during the ODI World Cup 2023, makes his comeback to the side. 

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been left out of the side after suffering back spasms during the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Youngsters like Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana have been added to the side. Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal have not been included into the squad. The series will begin on January 22.
