The Women’s Premier League 2025 season is well underway, and Mumbai Indians Women are preparing to clash with Delhi Capitals Women in the second match of the tournament, scheduled to be played on Saturday at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara. 

This will be the opening match for both teams, who will be eager to start their campaign with a win. Both sides will be looking to make a statement from the get-go. The match marks an important moment for both teams, as a strong start will be crucial to set the tone for the rest of the tournament.

Delhi Capitals will bank on Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning’s batting skills as they both have been the backbone of DC’s batting lineup. Their bowling attack will be led by Shikha Pandey, Arundhati Reddy, and Radha Yadav. 

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, also have a balanced lineup with the likes of seasoned campaigners Yastika Bhatia, Hayley Matthews, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Harmanpreet Kaur and Amelia Kerr.
