Sophie Devine unavailable for ODIs, T20Is against Sri Lanka

New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine is set to miss the team’s upcoming ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka as she continues to prioritise her “well-being”. Recently, Devine had withdrawn from Women’s Super Smash and Women’s Premier League following a professional advice. 

"We are fully supportive of Sophie's decision to not take part in the upcoming series. Player well-being is our highest priority and it's important Sophie feels fit and well before returning to professional cricket,” New Zealand Cricket's Head of Women's High Performance, Liz Green said in a statement.

Sri Lanka Women are set to tour New Zealand for three ODIs and as many T20Is. The ODIs will be played on March 4, 7 and 9 respectively. While, T20Is will be played on March 14, 16 and 18 respectively.
