News

In the ninth match of the ongoing Women’s Premier League, Royals Challengers Bengaluru Women will be clashing with UP Warriors Women on Monday at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. RCB’s winning momentum took a huge blow last week on Friday when they were beaten by powerhouse Mumbai Indians. So far, RCB have won two games out of three they have played.

They started their campaign brilliantly, recording victories in their matches against Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals. And, despite the loss, they are still topping the points table with 4 points and a positive NRR of +0.835. Moreover, RCB would look to return to winning ways to bring back their winning momentum.

UP Warriorz Women, on the other hand, are sitting on the fourth spot into points table with one victory out of three games. They suffered defeats in their first two games but they made a great comeback in their last game, beating Delhi Capitals by 33 runs. They now carry two points and a positive NRR of +0.233. UP Warriorz would also hope to carry forward the momentum in order to remain in rhythm.
