Chasing a total of 264, India completed the task with 11 balls to spare, booking their place in the final showdown of the tournament. Virat Kohli again led India’s chase, making a big difference with his crucial 84-run knock. Down the order, Pandya blazed some late fours and sixes to ensure India’s victory.
India’s chase didn’t start as expected, as they lost key wickets early on. Both Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill fell quickly, putting India in a precarious position. Shreyas Iyer provided excellent support to Kohli, contributing a crucial 45 runs. The pair put together a steady partnership, ensuring India’s recovery.
