Pumped up DC Women and GG Women hope to go one better

The 17th match of the ongoing Women’s Premier League will see the clash between Gujarat Giants Women and Delhi Capitals Women on Friday at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. Gujarat Women are coming off an impressive win in their last match against UP Warriorz Women, beating the side by 81 runs. 

They have been incredibly wonderful in the tournament, currently, sitting on the second place with three victories and as many defeats from six games. They have six points and a positive NRR of +0.357. Interestingly, Gujarat Giants Women are high on confidence, riding a wave of success with two consecutive victories. Going into this match, they will eye a victory to seal their spot into the playoffs.
