Sri Lanka, India and South Africa to play Women’s ODI Tri-series

Sri Lanka, India and South Africa will face off in a Women's ODI Tri-series scheduled to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in April and May 2025, SLC announced on Thursday. The series will feature seven exciting matches, offering all three teams an excellent opportunity to fine-tune their skills. All seven matches of the series will be day games and are scheduled to be played in Colombo at R Premadasa Stadium.
The series will be played from April 17 to May 11. Each team will be facing the other twice and the top two teams will lock horns in the final. As of now, Indian players and a lot of overseas players are participating in the ongoing Women’s Premier League in India, while Sri Lanka are touring New Zealand Women for a three-match ODI and a three-match T20I series. Meanwhile, The tri-series will hold a lot of significance considering the upcoming ODI World Cup in October. The series will begin with Sri Lanka taking on India on April 27.
