NZ vs PAK ODIs: Usman Khan ruled out of 2nd ODI

Pakistan opener Usman Khan has been ruled out of team’s upcoming second ODI match against New Zealand due to a hamstring injury. Usman, making his debut in the first ODI against New Zealand, had performed well by scoring 39 off 33. Meanwhile, he picked up the injury while fielding during the first ODI in Napier.
Following the scans, it was confirmed that he had suffered a low-grade tear, putting him out of the second game. Coming to the first match, Pakistan suffered a 73-run defeat in the opening match after failing to chase a target of 345 set by New Zealand. They could muster 271 all out in 44.1 overs, with Babar Azam cracking a thundering 78-run knock. The second ODI will be held on Wednesday in Hamilton.
