Yashasvi Jaiswal to represent Goa, to move from Mumbai

Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is set to leave Mumbai to represent Goa from the 2025-26 season of domestic cricket. The 23-year-old, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has evolved into a prolific batter across all formats, has reportedly emailed the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC). 

"He has sought a NOC from us and has cited that the reason for his move to Goa as personal. Jaiswal has followed the footsteps of Arjun Tendulkar and Siddhesh Lad who moved from Mumbai to Goa in their respective careers. According to several reports, Jaiswal is also likely to lead Goa next season depending on the clearance of MCA,” a source in the MCA said, as per the Indian Express

Jaiswal made his first-class debut in 2019 against Chhattisgarh. So far, he has played 36 first-class games for Mumbai and racked up 3712 runs. Jaiswal has represented Mumbai since his U19 days. He last played for Mumbai in a Ranji Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir in January, scoring 30 runs.
