IPL 2025, CSK vs DC: Ruturaj to lead CSK as DC elect to bat

Delhi Capitals’ skipper Axar Patel won the toss and decided to bat against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday at Chepauk in Match 17 of IPL 2025. DC are riding a wave of confidence after claiming victories in the first two games, while CSK are eying a comeback after losing to Rajasthan in their last game. Both sides have made changes, as DC have brought in Sameer Rizvi in place of injured Faf du Plessis, while CSK have included Devon Conway in place of Jamie Overton and Mukesh Chaudhary in place of Rahul Tripathi.

Meanwhile, there had been speculations that Gaikwad will miss the match against DC due to injury and MS Dhoni will step in to lead the side, but everything has now been put to rest.
