IPL 2025, RR vs GT: Beleaguered RR eye miracle revival

Rajasthan Royals are gearing up to host Gujarat Titans in the 47th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Monday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Gujarat Titans, riding high on momentum and consistency, will look to extend their winning streak, while Rajasthan Royals are desperate to halt a nightmarish run of form.
Pumped up Titans have found their rhythm at the right time, with two commanding wins on the bounce. Their top three batters, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have been in scintillating touch, laying strong platforms and reducing the pressure on the middle and lower order. Equally impressive has been their bowling attack, which has regularly delivered breakthroughs and maintained tight lines. Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma have led GT’s disciplined bowling attack.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are enduring their worst IPL campaign to date. With five consecutive losses, the team has looked out of sorts. The absence of their skipper, Sanju Samson, who is still recovering from injury, has only compounded their problems. The encounter against Gujarat gives RR an opportunity to solidify their position in the points table. Moreover, they would aim for revival to have the slightest chance for playoffs.
