Following his batting masterclass on Monday in Jaipur, Rajasthan Royals’ extraordinary batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi has attracted global attention. The 14-year-old Survanshi smashed a 35-ball century, the second-fastest in the IPL. The daring kid also became the youngest player to score an IPL ton, shattering a plethora of records. His sizzling batting pyrotechnics guided Rajasthan Royals to a remarkable eight-wicket win over Gujarat Titans as they snapped a five-match losing run. Suryavanshi, who hails from Motipur village in Bihar, in eastern India, highlighted how his parents’ dedication and sacrifices made him reach where he is today.

"Whatever I am today, I owe it to my parents. My mother used to wake up early because I had to go to practice, and she used to prepare food for me. She would sleep for three hours. My father left his work for me, and my big brother is handling it now. We were struggling. My father has backed me and said I would be able to achieve it. Whatever result is visible today, and the success I have achieved, is due to my parents," Vaibhav said in a video posted by IPL on X.

The fearless batter was signed by RR for ₹1.1 crore at the IPL 2025 auction in November last year. When he was signed by the RR, there were doubts whether he would be able to live up to the expectations or not. But he has silenced all the doubters with his unimaginable knock. Talking about his innings on Monday, the left-hander dished out seven fours and eleven sixes in his startling 101 from 38 balls.
