IPL 2025: Relaxed RCB host eliminated CSK

In the 52nd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), Royal Challengers Bengaluru are ready to host Chennai Super Kings on Saturday at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. While RCB are already in contention for a spot in the playoffs and are pushing for the top position on the points table, CSK find themselves playing only for pride, having been officially eliminated from contention.
Unlike previous seasons, RCB have been one of the standout teams this season, registering seven wins from ten games. With consistency in both batting and bowling departments, they have become a benchmark for control, discipline, and clarity. Their success has stemmed from clearly defined roles for every player in the team.
Whether it's the powerplay blitz, middle-over consolidation, or death-over attack, RCB have displayed a massive consistency at every stage. Their bowlers have been economical and wicket-taking, and their batters have shown adaptability and confidence under pressure. Meanwhile, a win against CSK would propel them to the top of the points table.
On the other hand, CSK, sitting at the bottom with two wins from ten games, have endured a forgettable campaign. With inconsistent performances, they’ve failed to mount a serious challenge this season. Already out of the playoff race, CSK will now use their remaining fixtures to experiment with team combinations.
