IPL 2025: Match between Punjab and Delhi in Dharamshala called off midway

The 58th match of the Indian Premier League between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals on Thursday in Dharamshala was called off after only 10 overs of play due to a technical failure. As per the broadcasters, the decision was taken in view of the power outage in the area and a significant failure at the stadium, leading to the abrupt cancellation.

Earlier, the match commenced with Punjab Kings opting to bat first. They made a swift start, putting on an impressive performance. Openers Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh had started very well, hammering 70 and 50 respectively. Punjab Kings were 122 for 1 in 10.1 overs when match was stopped. Meanwhile, their next outing is against Mumbai Indians on May 11.
