Mustafizur Rahman granted NOC to join Delhi Capitals

Mustafizur Rahman has been issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the Bangladesh Cricket Board to join Delhi Capitals for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, as per a report in ESPNcricinfo. He has been granted an NOC for "the period from 18-24 May 2025,”.
Mustafizur’s availability comes as a major boost for DC, who are set to miss the services of experienced pacer Mitchell Starc, who has pulled out of the remainder of the IPL 2025. However, Mustafizur will be available for Bangladesh’s first T20I against UAE in Sharjah on Saturday. And later, he will travel to India to link up with DC’s squad on May 18.
The Bangladesh pacer was signed by Delhi Capitals as a replacement for young Jake Fraser-Mcgurk, who made himself unavailable for the latter stages of the tournament, citing personal reasons. Meanwhile, the NOC only makes Mustafizur available for DC’s remaining three league-stage matches. In case DC qualify for the playoffs, the pacer will not be available.
