Rajasthan Royals sign off IPL 2025 campaign with commanding win over CSK

Rajasthan Royals ended their IPL 2025 campaign on a high note, securing a commanding six-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings in their final league game on Tuesday in Delhi. Despite being out of contention for the playoffs, RR came out all guns blazing to claim a consolation victory.
Chasing a solid target of 188, RR openers laid a solid foundation. Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone with a quickfire 36, while young prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi dazzled with an impressive 57, underlining his potential once again as one of RR’s promising stars. The duo’s aggressive intent put RR on the course for victory.
Captain Sanju Samson also played a fluent knock of 41 before Dhruv Jurel expertly guided the innings through the middle overs. Jurel scored 31 off 12 balls as RR cruised to victory with six wickets in hand.
Earlier, CSK, after being sent in to bat, posted 187/8 in their 20 overs. Promising opener Ayush Mhatre stood out with a gritty 43, while Dewald Brevis (42) and Shivam Dube (39) provided some fireworks in the lower middle order.
