IPL 2025: PBKS face MI in blockbuster showdown

As the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) approaches its conclusion, all eyes will be on the blockbuster face-off between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings, scheduled to be held on Monday in Jaipur. Both teams have already secured their spots in the playoffs, but with a top-two finish still on the line, there’s plenty left to play for.
Punjab Kings have been the benchmark of consistency this season. Their disciplined bowling and solid batting have seen them stay in the upper half of the table throughout the tournament. A win in this encounter could be crucial for them to secure one of the top two spots.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians had a sluggish start to the season but have stormed back into contention with a series of strong performances. Their rise has been powered by an explosive batting led by Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Ryan Rickelton. MI’s bowling unit, led by Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and Mitchell Santner, has backed their batters well with a fiery bowling attack.
