Josh Inglis and Priyansh Arya slammed half-centuries to power Punjab Kings to a seven-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians on Monday in Jaipur. With the win, Punjab successfully sealed a top-two spot in the IPL playoffs. Meanwhile, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer highlighted the support of head coach Ricky Ponting and the management that has played a big role in their success right from the start.

“I personally feel, every individual stepped up at the right time. Starting from game one, we've been in the mindset that we’ve to win irrespective of the situation. Kudos to support staff and management too," Iyer said during the post-match presentation.

"Ricky has been fantastic with player management; it's important for me to gain the trust of every individual. And that happened by winning matches, and I personally feel we need to maintain that relationship throughout. When you are down in the dumps, it is easy to backstab each other and talk bad about each other. I feel the dressing room has been top-notch right from game one, and that has been working tremendously for us."

Iyer lauded the players for demonstrating a fearless approach.

"The way he started today was fabulous. Each and every individual is fearless. Their approach and attitude are fantastic," he said.
