Dates, venues confirmed for Women’s ODI World Cup

The 13th edition of the Women's ODI World Cup will begin on September 30, with five venues across India set to host the eight-team tournament. The tournament will run from September 30 until November 2. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru), ACA Stadium (Guwahati), Holkar Stadium (Indore), ACA-VDCA Stadium (Visakhapatnam), and R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo) will be hosting the mega tournament that marks its return to India after 12 years.
The eight teams set to feature in the tournament are India, England, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Australia are the defending champions, having claimed the title back in 2022 after beating England in the final. Meanwhile, the matches featuring Pakistan will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The first semi-final will be held in either Guwahati or Colombo on October 29. And the second semi-final will be played the following day, on October 30, in Bengaluru. The final will be played in Bengaluru on November 2. And if Pakistan make it to the final, then it will be played in Colombo.
