England disclose their playing XI, Archer replaces Josh Tongue

England have confirmed their playing XI for the third Test match against India, scheduled to start on Thursday (July 10) at Lordâs. Tearaway pacer Jofra Archer has made his comeback to the side after four years, replacing Josh Tongue. Archer, who has represented England in 13 Tests, has grabbed 42 wickets, but his progress has been hampered by a series of injuries since his last appearance for England in 2021.
England are eyeing a comeback in the third Test after being demolished by India in the second game at Edgbaston. At the moment, the five-match series is levelled 1-1, making this showdown hugely important for both teams.
