Nepal to host Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Qualifier

Nepal is set to host the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Qualifier, which will be played from January 12 to February 2 next year. However, the complete schedule of the tournament will be announced later. A total of ten teams will be competing in the tournament for four spots in the World Cup, which will be held in England and Wales in June-July.
Bangladesh and Ireland have bagged direct entry into the Qualifier by virtue of their participation in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Thailand and Nepal earned their places through the Asia regional pathway, while the USA secured their place from the Americas region.
The remaining five places will be determined by two teams each from Africa and Europe and one from the East Asia-Pacific region. Meanwhile, the T20 World Cup Qualifier will have ten teams divided into two groups of five each. The top six teams will advance to the Super Six stage ahead of the final.
